Audition pieces are: Stabat Mater, Patterns on the Snow, Fire Dance of Luna
Only the top 6 chairs advance to Area
This will be hosted at Plano East High School. We will leave from HS on a bus, compete, then return!
Celina Choir members will be taking a trip to Nashville to take in the sights and sounds! We are planning a masterclass at Vanderbilt, learning about the music industry, recording a session at Studio B (yes where Elvis, Dolly and many more performed) and seeing a show at the Opry….and OH SO MUCH MORE!!!

UIL C-SR contest at Allen PAC. Parents are allowed to attend. Email Mr. LeMaire prior so you know what to do and expect. We will compete during school hours.

Moore Choir members will need to be present for a dress rehearsal.
We will compete in UIL Solo and Ensemble. This competition will be at Plano East and will have the opportunity to advance to state Memorial Day weekend.
Advancing students will audition at TWU. Same pieces as Pre-Area. All rounds will have an 8-measure sight reading exercise that counts as 20% of their total rank/score.
The High School Christmas concert will be at the High School Auditorium 6:30PM.
Dress: Black and White theme. Girls wear black and white…guys where black pants and white button up or polo shirt.
Select choirs will be competing in the Pride of Texas Music Festival. Email Mrs. Neal for Details.

Advancing students will compete at Gainesville HS. Start time is 1:30PM so we will leave from school. We should be back hopefully before 10:30PM

Students who have advanced to the region choir will spend the day in a masterclass rehearsal and perform a concert at night.

This is a Mandatory concert for all JH choirs. Email Mrs. Neal for details.
All JH choirs will have a dress rehearsal at Moore Middle School.

Select students will be traveling to Gainsville HS to compete. Competition starts at 1:30 and should end before 10PM.
