High School All State Choir Competition

My Post (2) copy 3.png

The Texas All-State Choir process is, in my opinion, by far the most challenging and rewarding process a student can participate in. Students who want to participate in this process need to let me know asap so I can register them.

Students will receive high level choral music and will have to perform the music and sight read to try and advance to each successive round. Students who advance will be performing in Allen in November in the All-Region Choir. If they advance to the end, they get to miss about a week of school in (usually) February to sing with the All-State Choir in San Antonio.

Making this elite choir can open a gateway to scholarships and college regardless of your declared major. Our last All-Stater received the largest scholarship her college offered for being All-State Caliber.

You get points towards your letter jacket for doing this competition.

The dates are being decided soon. Please come back for updates.

Students will be learning audition material and auditioning for a chance to be named to the Region Choir. If they make this elite group, they will have the ability to perform with the best of the best in our region as well as have memories that will last a lifetime!
